ABOUT THE PROGRAM  (It’s FREE!!)

Mastering the Mysteries of Love is a relationship skills program for couples, and those who want to learn how to improve their relationship skills. We present the program as an activity-based workshop where participants learn how to create stable relationships. The workshops teach couples relationship skills that reinforce positive habits and problem solving skills. The skills taught in the workshops are based upon more than 40 years of research with 27 studies of effectiveness.

PROGRAM FORMAT

We offer an introductory class and the full program.  The introductory class offers participants the opportunity to learn and practice the three fundamental skills to the program–to the success of a relationship we believe.  The workshop uses activities with step-by-step directions that are simple yet kind to readers. Each workshop  includes activities for partners to do on their own, together, or in a group with other couples. Information is presented by instructors who use audio-visuals (DVD or role play), and give time for participants to practice activities that engage both the person who isn’t sure they want to be there as well as those who are very eager to be there.  The introductory class is approximately 2.5 hours of instruction over a 3 hour period.  The full program is offered over three weeks at 5 hours each week.  If you are interested in hosting a class at your site or would like more information, please contact us.

MULTI-CULTURAL

We value diversity and understand that each couple has a rich story behind how they met and their relationship as well as family history. The skills taught build upon one another and help participants learn how to respectfully and successfully work through 3-4 problems or concerns that are important to them because the program is based on core values of honesty and compassion. Mastering the Mysteries of Love has been successfully accepted and practiced in a variety of cultural communities: African-American, Latino and Korean communities, several Native-American communities, and others.
