William Schult, LMFT# 111556
Who I work with:
I treat couples and adult individuals who are motivated, open-minded and committed to their own success. I enjoy working with insightful and reflective people struggling with relational issues like infidelity, intimacy, moving on from a relationship and polyamorous/open relationships as well as adult individuals working on inter/intrapersonal struggles. I have a lot of experience working with Friends of Bill and LGBT couples seeking to repair their relationships and overcome personal obstacles. I am also the President/Executive Director for Couples Resource Collective and served two terms as Treasurer for the Sacramento Valley Chapter for the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
How I treat patients:
I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy in my work and I generally operate from a client-centered approach. However, I am well versed and commonly use many other other methods but I select treatment theory based upon the needs of my patients after considering the strengths of the individual(s), problems being addressed and openness to particular theoretical frameworks.
As of May 2019, I currently have openings on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well as limited availability on Fridays until 2pm. For patients with very busy schedules I have limited availability online. If you require the utmost discretion we may be able to arrange home or office visits with a fee of $200/hr plus travel time.
