President – William Schult, LMFT, PPS

As president, executive director & co-founder of the organization it is my proudest pleasure to welcome you to Couples Resource Collective. I truly believe in our mission and the work we do here at CRC and I am committed to making the experience of every client a helpful & insightful one. I am lucky to have a fantastic team of colleagues and staff that help make our organization great.

I received my bachelors degree in Anthropology from California State University Sacramento, a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy as well as a second Masters degree in Education with a PPS credential in School Counseling, both from Alliant International University. Additionally, I served on the board of SVC-CAMFT as Treasurer for two terms from 2016-17 & 2017-18 as well as the Secretary of AAMFT Sacramento from 2015-2016 and am also a licensed marriage and family therapist.

David Clark, MA

David believes each couple’s happiness and success is based upon a foundation of friendship that demonstrates key communication, problem solving, and relationship maintenance skills. He believes that couples must learn to navigate a variety of issues through life. Thus, he decided to approach Billy Schult with the idea of developing a center wherein couples could find support by professionals and community volunteers who received superior and ongoing training.While he enjoys overseeing the operations of Couples Resource Collective, his passion for teaching, coaching, and tutoring come alive when he works with couples. He believes every couples deserves relationship satisfaction and an enriched life, now and into the future.His study of interpersonal relationships in the family and workplace as well as his versed professional and personal background enable him to connect with a wide and diverse audience. He was an instructor for Relationship Skills Center from 2012 to 2015, where he became certified to teach Mastering the Mysteries of Love, and also taught Together We Can and Love Notes. He has also taught classes as a guest lecturer at California State University, Sacramento and Yuba College. He earned a Master of Art in Marital and Family Therapy at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Sacramento and studied American Culture in the American Workplace while an undergraduate at University of California, Berkeley. He is a veteran of the US Navy, has traveled 5 of 7 continents, is the guide for his blind dog, and the servant of a cat.
