Dr. Briana Schiff, PsyD, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #148536

Sun Tzu wrote, “In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity”. My work is rooted in the belief that even in our darkest moments, there lies the potential for profound healing and connection. Using the transformative power of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I guide my individuals and couples on a journey to rediscover the bonds that nourish them and the strength that lies within.

“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” — Rumi

Trauma leaves a mark, but it doesn’t have to define you. I specialize in trauma-informed care, creating a sanctuary where you can confront your pain, find your voice, and begin the process of reclaiming your life. In my practice, I view the therapeutic relationship as a sacred space—one where vulnerability is met with empathy, and despair is met with hope.

With a PsyD (doctorate) in Marriage and Family Therapy and specific training in EFT, I am equipped to guide you through the most challenging emotional landscapes. My approach is both compassionate and evidence-based, blending the art and science of therapy to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.

My ideal client is an adult individual or couple that is intrigued to dive into the pain and difficult, distancing cycles that have been plaguing them for years. This client is interested in deep emotional work and looking for someone unafraid to accompany them into the darkness.

Whether you are seeking to mend a ruptured relationship, heal the wounds of the past, or better understand kink or sexual identity, I am here to walk with you. Together, we will explore the depths of your experiences, and emerge with a renewed sense of strength, connection, and peace.
