Yi-Wen Hsu, Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee

I offer a gentle, yet grounded approach with my work, and I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about supporting you to become more fully yourself—with compassion, clarity, and courage. My cross-cultural experiences deepen my understanding of diverse perspectives, and I value open dialogue and honest expression. My work focuses on supporting adults and young couples who juggle multiple roles in partnership, parenting, work, and life, yet often feel overwhelmed or disconnected. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive space where you can explore these challenges, gently unpack emotional baggage that may have gone unnoticed for years, reconnect with your needs, and build authentic relationships.

I support clients navigating complex family and relationship dynamics, including trauma, early caregiving responsibilities, and major life transitions like empty nest or infidelity. Whether you are coping with loss, external pressures, or seeking balance between caregiving and self-care, therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and realign.

In session, I integrate Contextual Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and a trauma-informed approach to help clients address their needs and overcome long-standing challenges. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to hold space for your story. I also offer therapy in Mandarin for those who feel more at home expressing themselves in Chinese. I look forward to supporting you on your journey of self-discovery and growth.
