Jennifer Viscidy, MFT Trainee
As a women, I have had the fortunate experience of witnessing the transformational female connection, but I am also aware of the deep seated discrimination that still exists within our society and the self identity struggles that often occur as a result when we are unable to live our authentic truths. My goal as a therapist is to advocate for women to discover and live out their most authentic life. I achieve this by helping women explore their lives and relationships safely in a non-judgmental environment that is conducive to healing. I work with partners to improve communication, heal abandonment wounds, and reestablish fulfilling intimacy. Additionally, I am certified in Systematic Affair Recover Therapy (SART)TM.
I also work with those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, identity, sexuality and motivation, as well as life’s everyday challenges. I operate from an Attachment theory mindset and practice from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach. However, I prioritize flexibility in my therapeutic practice to reach my client’s needs and worldviews.
I want to take a moment to celebrate the courage you have to reach out and heal. I am honored to work with you and look forward to accompanying you on this new journey.
