Michelle Dunnaway

Marriage and Family Therapy Associate #161562

I value the courage it takes to begin therapy. My hope for you is that our work together provides a space of safety, empowerment, and self-discovery. I work with couples, individuals, and families who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, faith transitions/crisis, religious trauma, neurodivergence (ASD, ADHD), self-esteem related challenges, emotional exhaustion, a “never good enough” mindset, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy incorporates techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS, "parts work"), Somatic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to work from the inside out. This leads to healing, emotional regulation, and growth in relationships.

I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for all individuals. I approach therapy as a humble explorer, recognizing the diverse and intersecting identities that shape each client’s experience and the unique strengths each client brings to the therapy space. Please reach out for a phone consultation - I look forward to meeting you.
