It is her ambition and training that uniquely helps couples improve their communication skills and strengthen their bond.
Anastasia earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015 and expects to graduate with a Doctorate in Psychology for Marriage and Family Therapy in 2019. In addition to advanced education and providing clinical service since 2014, she offers clients a rounded perspective through her past direct experience working with children and adolescence while training at the Family Services at Burbank and the WhyTry/WhyLead program for young adults transitioning out of foster homes and certification as a coach in Mastering the Mysteries of Love. As your couples counselor or individual counselor, she looks forward to using her experience and training of more than five years to help you live the life you envision.

Helping you and your partner be in a healthier and happier place is my primary focus. Improving your connection with your partner and loved ones is my goal.
Working with an array of clients has required my training and perspectives to be informed and aligned with a variety of theory and practice. I also call upon my personal experience with adversity and disability. I don’t believe that any one theory or practice fits all clients, nor do I believe that your experience is the same as mine. In fact, I look for differences and try to tailor interventions to meet your specific needs based on training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 1 & 2; in addition, I like experiential therapy (like art and play therapy), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative, Logo therapy, Solution-Focused, attachment theory. Of all, I really find a lot of value in mindfulness and meditation. If you would like to know more about me as a couples’ counselor or would like to schedule an appointment, please call and ask for me.
